How My Paint By Numbers Started

MyPaintByNumbers didn’t begin with a big brand plan. It started with a search. We were looking for a creative break that felt calm and hands-on, because screens were getting a bit too loud and, in reality, most hobbies didn’t stick for long.

Paint by numbers did stick. Not because we suddenly became “artists,” but because it was simple to start and weirdly satisfying to keep going. Over time, we noticed the best part wasn’t only the finished piece. It was the quiet focus while painting, the small wins when a section finally looked right, and that moment at the end when you step back and think, “Okay… I actually made that.”

That’s where MyPaintByNumbers grew from. We do sell kits, yes, but the truth is we care more about the feeling people get while making them. For many people, it’s a way to slow down without needing a lot of skill or fancy supplies. Each canvas becomes its own little story, told in color and patience, and it’s yours the moment you start.
